The Mercer’s 75 loft-like rooms and suites all have the seductive qualities of high ceilings, large windows that open and abundant natural light. Renowned interior designer Christian Liaigre has created soothing modernist interiors emphasizing comfort, harmonized proportions and calming, subtle color palettes.
The exceptionally spacious bathrooms enhance the loft experience, the majority featuring oversized marble bathtubs that fit two people or more. All rooms include complimentary wireless internet access, sumptuous bedding with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, HD televisions and a wide range of thoughtful amenities that cater to every need.
Courtyard rooms are peaceful and bright with French doors overlooking a bamboo courtyard. All have a sitting area that can be used as a work or dining space, and a marble bathroom with oversized walk-in shower and additional body spray. Mercer rooms offer views of Mercer Street and have high ceilings and a sitting area for work or dining, deluxe Mercer rooms offer multiple windows, high ceilings, an abundance of natural light and comfortable sitting areas.
Located on Prince Street, Mercer Hotel studios benefit from an abundance of natural light, and a sitting area consisting of a sofa, oval table and leather chair. Four of these studios have exposed brick walls. All have a generous marble bathroom with an oversized two person bathtub, separated from the bedroom simply with shutter doors that can be opened or kept closed for privacy, as well as a large walk-in shower with additional body spray.
The hotel also boasts a variety of loft suites, which are situated on the top (6th) floor. These suites are either rectangular or L-shaped, and have a large living room, dining area and work space. While some have a fireplace, all have huge arched windows, and hardwood floors, as well as all the bathroom amenities
mentioned above. Larger lofts boast kitchenettes; the penthouse loft offers a juliet balcony. The three largest available guest rooms at the Mercer Hotel can be found in the Courtyard, Penthouse and Soho suites – all three of which are spacious, comprising of both “suites” and “lofts” to house multiple people. French doors overlook bamboo terraces, and furniture can be arranged to suit your needs.
Inside all rooms and suites at the Mercer Hotel, you’ll find gourmet mini-bars, personal size bath products created exclusively for the hotel by FACE Stockholm, luxurious bath robes, slippers and custom designed cashmere throws, Egyptian cotton sheets woven in Italy, linen comforters and down pillows, ceilings fans and windows that open, HDTVs, iPod docking stations, CD and DVD players, three two-line telephones, full in-room business amenities, high speed wireless internet access, extra beds, cribs and other housekeeping and personal items available on request, spacious wardrobes and closets equipped for long term stays, in-room fax, laptops and computer equipment available, and large in room safes.

The Mercer Kitchen, located on two levels of The Mercer, is an open, inviting and informal 200 seat restaurant with world renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten at the helm. The atmosphere of dining in a casual family kitchen is created by communal dining tables and a spacious open kitchen plan. The Mercer Kitchen is comprised of a 40 seat street-level cafe adjacent to the hotel lobby, and a 160 seat lower level main dining room that lies beneath Soho’s signature cast iron and glass sidewalks, with original brick walls, rich wenge-wood furnishings, banquettes and bar area seating.

The Mercer Hotel is located on Mercer and Prince Streets in the heart of Manhattan’s Soho neighborhood. Conveniently located just a few blocks from both the NRW and 6 train lines, the hotel is perfectly placed in New York’s shopping mecca. Soho has long drawn many an admirer, be it for its incredible wrought iron buildings and cobblestone streets to its perfectly balanced blend of high street fashion and small boutiques. Great restaurants, department store and incredible bars and coffee shops can all be found here – and the Mercer Hotel puts you in the center of it all. Walk up and you’ll hit the West Village, walk east and you’ll cross Bowery into the East Village. Head down into Chinatown and experience some of the best Dim Sum around, or head even further down to go antiquing on the quaint and chic streets of Tribeca. No matter where in New York you want to go, Soho is a great starting point – and of course, it doesn’t hurt that you could easily drop thousands in a day there if you wanted to.
