Location
The Chatwal is located on West 44th Street, just above Times Square in the heart of Midtown West. The centralized location means you’re just a stone’s throw away from the area that originated the “bright lights, big city” phrasing. Times Square is awash with colorful electronic billboards, as well as every brand name store you can imagine and a variety of restaurants. A bit further west, discover Broadway’s Great White Way, where celebrities and theatrical actors alike give their best performances on the city’s greatest stages. Great dining is clustered around the Times Square area, so you won’t have to go far to get a bite to eat in between shopping and shows. Times Square is a hub for public transportation; the 1/2/3 and A/C/E subway lines are located here, both of which go up and down the west side. Walk a bit east, and you’ll find yourself on Fifth Avenue among the luxury shops. Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton, oh my! No matter what you’re looking to do, whether it be take a walk around Central Park or shop in Soho till you drop, The Chatwal is a great jumping point from which to do and see it all.
